Human Resources

Amy Kraal, Sr. Consultant at HROI, will be sharing expertise and guidance on the employment basics that all new employers should be aware of.  Topics will cover employment laws by employer size, required employee documentation, required employment insurances & programs, and recommended Human Resource forms and employment policies.

HROI works with small to medium sized companies to make sure they are competitive, legally compliant, and have employees working toward common goals.  HROI achieves this by implementing innovative and competitive HR strategies that align with an organization’s strategic goals.   HROI provides outsourcing and consulting services for various industries including professional service firms, healthcare, manufacturing, religious, non-profit, agricultural, government, technology, and gaming organizations.

Amy Kraal serves as a Sr. Consultant for the organization, bringing over 15 years of professional human resources experience.  She has expertise in Organizational Development, Employment Branding, Recruitment Strategy, and Compensation Program Design.  Before founding HROI, she worked for Varnum Consulting, kforce.com, and Haworth. 

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and German from Hope College in Holland, MI.  She has also earned and maintained the PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification from Society of Human Resource Management.  Amy professionally invests back into our community with volunteer work as an advisor for Lakeshore Advantage, speaks at local universities and professional associations on HR topics, and is a member of the Community Business Alliance.

 

 

Note: All classes require at least 5 preregistered attendees 48 hours prior to the scheduled class in order to take place. In the case the class must be cancelled all reregistered attendees will be reimbursed or receive a voucher for a future class.
