What's the big idea?
Cerealize will allow you to make your very own custom cereal creation. Not only will you get to choose the ingredients, but you will also be able to customize the box.
Whether you are a picky eater (or your 6 year old child is), have specific dietary restrictions, or want to give a gift to someone who has everything, then Cerealize is for you.

Direct competition comes from Custom Choice Cereal (gluten-free) and Moja Mix. Both deliver their mixes in small bags (not boxes). Moja Mix offers the ability to upload a picture (very small) and to add a text sentiment.
How are you different from that player?
Most importantly Cerealize will allow you to customize your very own box. This way you customize what’s inside the box, as well as outside.
We will also offer ingredients from every part of the food spectrum. Regular, organic, non-GMO and gluten-free.
How's the world different with your idea in it?
It wil rain puppy dogs and unicorn dust. BUT, in the event that doesn’t happen, the world will smile a bit more and you will no longer have to win an olympic gold medal to get on the front of a cereal box. (and the crowd goes wild!)
Why are you the one to run with this idea?
We are a team of serial (and cereal) entrepreneurs with backgrounds of either:
A) trained chef
B) former Marine
C) online marketers & foodies
D) we’ve already tested an initial batch of 100 and are preparing for a second batch to include custom boxes
E) all the above (hint: pick this one)

I find this interesting. I think one of the keys for the success of this start-up is the ingredients that they mix and match. If those are proven tasty, nutritious, healthy and clean then it will be a big plus… but the challenge of this mix and match is the nutritional percentage that is shown on the box. How are they going to measure the protein, sodium and other nutritional value for this mix and match of many ingredients? Still 5k funding from Start Garden for 3% equity is a good deal for Start Garden.
