What's the big idea?
Fluke - the wealth building game of accidental inventions is a board game where players experience the thrill of scientific research, serendipity of accidental inventions, wacky invention creation, stock explosions, and legal shoot outs as they maneuver through the risk and rewards of the wild, wild world of intellectual property.
Describe the nearest player in your field.
Era of Inventions is a complex board game where adult players create, manufacture, patent and market industrial revolution inventions to the world!
How are you different from that player?
Fluke focuses on the economic risk and reward of 28 potential scenarios that will cause the purchase or licensing of patents, and emerging corporations. Inventions span both the industrial and technological revolution. The game is simple fun for both children and adults.
How does this idea scale into a big business?
Josh Bersin, CEO and president of Bersin by Deloitte states “neither schools or corporations have the time or resource to teach the “four C’s internally.” Outsourced training sessions and tools are needed Fluke is one of those training tools suited for both children and adults.
Why are you the one to run with this idea?
I created this game to answer these questions both child and adults ask, “Why do I need to learn Science and Math?” “Why is everyone preaching entrepreneurship, innovation and invention?” Fluke teaches those subjects using history of real products and companies with generic names.
What is a $5,000 experiment you can do to move your idea forward?
I will arrange a public relations marketing campaign, including game play, to factory produce Fluke for retail sale.
