What's the big idea?
The concise answer is that we are a company that has paid members getting tickets to shows, concerts, and sporting events all for free. This will also include two choices for the members to go on the day of the event. This generates revenue for Guest Edge on many different fronts. This is unique and could quite possibly be the biggest monster for market research in the country. Gone are the days of people listening to radio commercials, seeing television commercials, and participating in truthful surveys. We are aware of this and with your help could be tremendously ahead of everyone else.
Describe the nearest player in your field.
The nearest player in the field is Fillaseat.com. However, the closest location for them is in Cleveland and the buisness plan is much simpler. Groupon is another player, but the concepts are almost too different.
How are you different from that player?
We are different from Fillaseat because they stop at last minute ticket sales (which has proven very successful). We allow an extra 4 days for ticket sales and include an event such as a museum visit or a fun night at a wine bar. The second idea has a Groupon feel, but the differences are obvious.
How does this idea scale into a big business?
This idea is massive. Once we get into the sports industry (baseball games, etc) we see aggressive expansion and profits for the forseeable future. I have already succeeded with the idea once, but this time I want it to be permanant. Revenue comes in so many different ways. It’s exciting!
Why are you the one to run with this idea?
I have a proven track record with Fillaseat.com. I have been in the Entreprenuerial game since I was 14 in the U.P. doing bus trips all over the Midwest. This company is still going today. (Visit Facebook: Visiting Edge) I also have the great instincts that can bring Guest Edge to the next level.
What is a $5,000 experiment you can do to move your idea forward?
I have already put quite a bit of money into my research. The money would go toward finalizing the website and doing final soft runs. This investment of money would make Guest Edge into a company that can start selling very quickly.
