What's the big idea?
Our idea is to not only allow people to store all of their information their family would want and need to know in the event something were to happen to them, but help guide them through that process.
Most people don’t know what information their families will need in the event of their death or incapacitation. Life Document Storage will help solve that problem with our comprehensive database, which will guide a person through the gathering, storage and transfer of that information when the time comes.
With Life Document Storage, you can leave your family answers not questions.
Describe the nearest player in your field.
How are you different from that player?
1. Our idea is different because we allow for active collaboration 2. Our database & website (which actually guides the end user through the process) were developed and built based upon 10 years of funeral directing experience, which we believe to be a big competitive advantage.
How does this idea scale into a big business?
We believe this idea has the potential to be very big. People in Michigan, the midwest, America and all other parts of the world have information they both need and want to pass down to their loved ones if something happened to them. This niche market is very young and primed for major growth.
Why are you the one to run with this idea?
With a BS in Marketing/Sales, a BS in Mortuary Science and being a licensed funeral director in Michigan, I have the skills, knowledge, passion and desire necessary to turn this idea into a reality and grow this company.
What is a $5,000 experiment you can do to move your idea forward?
We are a brand new startup, having launched September 16th. The $5,000 would let us test Google Adwords & Bing Ad keyword campaigns and allow us to get some printed materials that will be sent out to various professionals in the Funeral, Financial, Insurance and Estate Planning industries.
