What's the big idea?
Growth is great, however being a very small company, we have been trapped in the cycle of selling everything we make as soon as it hits the marketplace, never allowing us to focus on growth, sourcing new materials, creating new designs, and establishing new markets. An investment will allow us to finally focus on creating efficiencies, developing distribution partners, and creating new, beautifully designed products.
Describe the nearest player in your field.
Freitag, headquartered in Switzerland, distributes their up-cycled products throughout the world.
Alchemy Goods, headquartered in Seattle, distributes their up-cycled products throughout North America
How are you different from that player?
Unlike these competitors, who manufacture utilizing narrow material options, Teamwork sources an assortment of different material, both new and used. Our customer demographic is much larger based on the material we source and the lifestyle products we design.
How's the world different with your idea in it?
We help people understand the value of well designed, utilitarian products while telling stories of the past and dreaming of the future.
Why are you the one to run with this idea?
We have been working towards creating sustainability throughout our model for the past 6 years. We understand the work and the marketplace, and are willing to continue to invest the time, energy, and sacrifice to push it into the future.
