Nawgum is the all in one baby teether designed to appease all areas of a teething baby’s mouth.

What's the big idea?

Nawgum, the all in one teether, will help to soothe a baby during oral development. It is purposely designed to be visually, and aesthetically appealing to children ages 0-24 months. The concept image of a baby’s first “tool” helped to create the all in one Nawgum.  A variety of textures are strategically placed to help the child find the right “tool” in the moment of pain. Along with the purposely created design, the FDA compliant, non-porous,seamless silicon grade offers a safe feeling to the parent/caregiver.This BPA free material also allows for easy cleaning and dishwasher sterilization.

Describe the nearest player in your field.

Sophie the Giraffe! She’s cute! She smells great! She’s organic ~ made with Havea Rubber! Her collapsible design offers squeaks! Who wouldn’t want to chew on this!  Sophie the Giraffe has taken on the baby world by storm, making it a status symbol to be seen with her ~ drool and all!  MADE IN FRANCE

How are you different from that player?

Nawgum has multi textured, strategically placed surfaces. The material allows the sore gums to “Naw” down with out collapsing. The “gum” is offered resistance needed to appease oral discomfort. The seamless silicon, unlike hevea rubber, offers a worry free environment of material break down. MADE IN USA

How does this idea scale into a big business?

Nawgum is the first creation, in a series of products,to be launched by Mello & Company, LLC ~ a holding company created for upcoming children’s products.Mello & Company’s vision encompasses one of the leading toy distributers, Melissa & Doug. Our goal is to become a major competitor in this industry

Why are you the one to run with this idea?

When you say “no”,I hear “not yet”.My passion and foresight sparks my ingenuity to respectfully help you see what I see.My fundraising background trained my tenacity to inspire followers,be fiducially frugal, and appreciative on all levels. With out a doubt,I am the one to see this through.

What is a $5,000 experiment you can do to move your idea forward?

I need a MI based tool company to create my custom tooling.I will need a MI based FDA approved production plant who will agree to work with a low volume silicone line. From there I will have my packaging created for whole sale & web based sales. My tooling will exceed the 5,000, but it is a necessity.
